Message	I'm not sure how safe this was, but when I bought my TT last fall, I drove down to IN with $3k cash in-hand, and a cashiers check for the remaining balance. I got to drive home with the car and a bill of sale stating I am the purchaser of said car, pending the check clears. When it checked out OK, they overnighted me the signed title. I of course made sure names on the title matched those I was dealing with before purchase, and we traded scans of each others drivers licenses, etc. It worked out, and I've got my car. I'm sure there are much easier ways to go about it, though =)
